Types of Hunts Available to YouRawhide Creek Ranch

Rawhide Creek Ranch offers both Rifle and Archery hunting. Whether you are looking to hunt Deer, Antelope, Elk or Turkey, the time frames of which you are allowed to hunt will depend on your weapon of choice and varies throughout the season.

When booking a hunt, it is important for our hunters to be aware of upcoming application deadlines so you will not miss your hunting opportunity.

Nonresident Special Antelope License
Wyoming statute sets aside 40% of nonresident antelope licenses for applicants paying a higher fee. Applicants who pay the extra $240 for a special full price antelope license will participate in a separate preference point and random computer drawing.

Nonresident Special Deer License
Wyoming statute sets aside 40% of nonresident deer licenses for applicants paying a higher fee. Applicants who pay the extra $240 for a special full price deer license will participate in a separate preference point and random computer drawing.

Nonresident Special Elk License
Wyoming statute sets aside 40% of nonresident elk licenses for applicants paying a higher fee. Applicants who pay the extra $480 for a special full price elk license will participate in a separate preference point and random computer drawing.

We STRONGLY recommend paying the additional license fee to maximize
your drawing odds.

A non-refundable application fee of $14.00 is included in the amount to be remitted for each big game license applied for in the initial license drawing. If you do not draw your license, the Wyoming Game and Fish will refund your license fee minus a $14 charge. Our retainer of $500 is refunded in full or held for a hunt the following year, whichever you prefer.

Conservation Stamp

Rawhide Creek RanchEach person licensed to hunt or fish in Wyoming shall purchase one (1) conservation stamp for $12.50, valid for the calendar year. The stamp shall be in the possession of the person while hunting or fishing. If a physical paper stamp is purchased, it shall be signed in ink. Hunters or anglers who acquire a lifetime conservation stamp or a conservation stamp authorization from the Department’s electronic license service system shall not be required to meet the signature provision on a physical stamp as no physical stamp will be issued. Conservation stamps may be purchased from the Cheyenne Headquarters Office, Department Regional Offices, and license selling agents and on the Department website. A lifetime conservation stamp may be purchased for $180.50 from the Cheyenne Headquarters Office or Department Regional Offices.

Archery License

A non-resident archery hunter is required by the State of Wyoming to purchase an archery license for $22.00.

Hunter Safety Requirements

No person born on or after January 1, 1966, may take any wildlife by the use of firearms on land other than that of his own family, unless the person possesses or can demonstrate they have obtained a certificate of competency and safety in the use and handling of firearms. Compliance will be checked in the field.
